Have you ever caught yourself wondering what your iPhone might look like in an x-ray scan? I know I haven’t. That said, almost every time I go through airport security I’m curiously fascinated by the monitors that display the x-ray images of carry on items. With that in mind, the quick video you see above features an Apple iPhone 3GS from the inside out… that is, an x-ray video of the 3GS.
Looking at the device in this way, it’s amazing to think of how engineers and designers manage to cram all of the technology into such a small space. Kind of makes you appreciate the teams at Apple, BlackBerry, HTC and the other handset manufacturers. How do they do it so well? I suppose the short answer is a lot of people, time, money, and PhD’s. The long answer? I’ll defer to an engineer on that one.
At any rate, I ‘think’ this video is actually a little old, but it was cool enough to make me want to post. Hopefully you agree. Hit play on the video above for a quick 360-degree x-ray view of the iPhone 3GS. I did some quick searching for similar videos of the iPhone 4… But sadly, nothing up to this standard, yet.
