P&G wants to reach female iPhone users and is thus it launched the Always Me mobile application, touting it as a “comprehensive and unique period and ovulation tracker.” Designed with input from a select group of women-focused website editors, bloggers and female health experts – Always Me helps women manage their cycles, offering “timely support and advice.”

In addition to the mentioned period/cycle tracker and calendar, the application also comes with other handy features, such as:

  • Personalized Q&A function for users to submit private questions which will be responded by a health professional within 24 hours;
  • “Shop Always” button that allows online purchase of Always feminine hygiene products while on the go. Alternatively, there’s a store locator for those who like the traditional shopping;
  • Reminder notifications for anticipated arrival of period or ovulation;
  • Tips on topics ranging from how to better manage one’s cycle, health matters, exercise, etc.

And that’s just a start. P&G’s future plans include expanding the application to include a wide range of useful information and tips for various aspects of a woman’s life, including skin, hair and beauty care…
