After the iPhone version, Priceline.com is bringing its popular Hotel Negotiator hotel room booking app to Android devices. Available as a free download, the Priceline Negotiator (William Shatner) lets travelers use their smartphones to quickly find and book last-minute hotel rooms using Priceline.com’s “Name Your Own Price” hotel service to save up to 50% over published hotel rates.

Among the features included in Hotel Negotiator for Android, we highlight:

  • Winning Bids recommendations – Choose a city and the application will display multiple recent winning bids made by other Priceline.com customers for hotels in different parts of the city at different star levels.
  • Shake-Down geo-locator-triggered hotel search – For performing a Winning Bids search for hotels in the surrounding areas.
  • Instant Bid Results – If your bid is accepted, you will immediately receive all the details on your hotel and its location.
  • Two booking options – In addition to the “Name Your Own Price” hotel service, you can also book published-price hotel rooms.

As you search through the hotel listings, you can sort results by star level, price, proximity and popularity. Each listing includes address, star level, customer reviews and satisfaction scores, zoomable maps, pictures and descriptions…
