Motorola-Flipside-ATT

Hello everybody! Hopefully by now you’ve all recuperated from your Thanksgiving feasts and are currently recovering from any bruises, broken bones, or loss of a family member due to Black Friday. Now that we’re all back in our cozy offices counting down the days until our holiday vacations start, we thought we’d help you pass the time with a Motorola Bravo giveaway. Thanks to AT&T, we’ve got a Motorola Bravo to give away to one of you, our charming readers.

As with all giveaways on the Internet, there’s a catch. Don’t worry, it isn’t anything crazy like find a missing elf in one of our articles or  show us a picture of you wearing a silly holiday hat (although that one could be a hoot to see). All you have to do for this giveaway is leave a comment below, detailing your most memorable holiday memory. Did you exchange gifts with former President Bill Clinton? How about do the tango with the legendary Yeti? Or did you receive a pair of the most awesome socks you’ve ever seen from Aunt Gertrude? We want to hear it and so does Aunt Gertie!

Here are the rules and legal mumbo jumbo:

  • Leave a comment below with a story of one of your most memorable holiday moments. The winners will be chosen via email, so please use a valid one when entering.
  • Bonus entry: We’re allowing you guys to have a bonus entry into the giveaway through Twitter and Facebook. All you needs to do is retweet the following message and we’ll give you a bonus entry: RT @IntoMobile Bravo to the AT&T Motorola Bravo I’m entering to win! http://bit.ly/f63W2a
  • Like us on Facebook and leave a comment on our Facebook wall, and you’ll get yet another chance to win!
  • This contest will end on 12/2/10 at 11:59 PST.

And, to help your odds of winning something, AT&T is also hosting a sweepstakes of their own on Facebook. The promotion is called “12 Days of Gifting Sweepstakes” and it’ll launch on AT&T’s Facebook page tomorrow, Dec. 1st. From 12/1 to 12/12, AT&T will have an instant win application that allows fans to attempt to win one of 12 prizes each day. Every day will have a new “Prize of the Day”, so be sure to check back between 12/1 to 12/12 to try to pick up the featured prize. A little birdy told me some prizes are from Motorola, Jabra, Speck, Otterbox and more, so you won’t want to miss it.

This contest will end on 12/2/10 at 11:59 PST. Good luck!

I hope I get to replace my Motorola Razr. My favorite holiday memory was when my wife saved all my son’s old jeans from birth till he was 14…she then cut them up into squares and made them I to a beautiful quit to give to him…when he found out was used to make his quilt…we’ll just say…it was a kodak moment.

Ahh great holiday moments. I recall the most memorable moment I ever had was when I was about 7 or 8 (maybe younger) I was still learning to ride a bike and didn’t yet have one of my own. My mom bought me a new bike for Christmas and spent all night putting it together to surprise me. I was so happy to have the bike I wanted to ride it right away. I flew out the door with nothing but my PJs on, no shoes, no jacket nothing. About 10secs into my ride my foot slipped off the peddles and got caught between the chain and the sprocket. I spent the rest of the day getting stitches in my toe. I hated that bike for weeks to come but learned not to ride with out my shoes on!

Ooh, nice. Hm, my favorite holiday moment had to have happened when I was 8. I stayed up until 2 in the morning on Christmas (Eve), waiting for Santa to arrive because the only thing I asked for was a bike, and I wanted to see him get that through the door. During that time, I kept my family awake as well, while we were all talking, and even having a really late dinner that early in the morning :)

My favorite holiday memory is when I was 12 and my aunt bought lots of mini stockings and put every single one of my cousins names, including mine, and we hung them up. When Christmas morning came around I remember my grandparents face in AWWW, it was amazing. That was the last Christmas my granpa had and I will forever tresure that look. Also, about 4 years ago I bought my daughters, who were 5 and 3 yrs. old, a set of dolls with accessories for both to play with and when they openned the gift it amazing to see them enjoy the BOX more. Those two are my favorite holiday memories that top them off all.

My favorite holiday moment was about a year ago, I never drink, but that year I did. My husband gave a tequila shot and then later that night convinced me to have a Margarita. I took a chocolate chip cookie and was eating it and all of a sudden I dunked it in the Margarita, that’s when I realized every was one looking at me. I felt so embaressed, but I will never that Christmas.

My favorite holiday moment was when I gave my niece her first ever qwerty keyboard phone. I would love to tell you how happy she was, but I’m not quite sure how to calculate delight to the power of 10.

My most memorable holiday moment was spending the first Christmas with my wife because we had just gotten married 8 days before.

People who are entering the contest and IntoMobile. The picture of the phone is not a Bravo but a Motorola FlipSide. I am holding a Bravo in my hands. The Bravo does not have a keyboard.
If you want to see a pic, Google Motorola Bravo.

I must have been six years old, because Mom and Dad were still together. I woke up early – I haven’t any idea what time it really was – six year olds didn’t have alarm clocks back then.Anyway, it was a perfect storm for Christmas – it snowed and there was a full moon, which lent an eerie look to the living room. As I wandered out to the living room, I remember wondering if Santa had come yet, and then near the tree, I saw 4 large objects sitting around the floor.Between the snow, and the four billowy objects, it looked like Jiffy Pop popcorn bags had erupted out of the floor – like a surreal landscape you could only fathom at the age of six, on Christmas Eve, with a combination of snow and the moon casting a glow in the living room. It all seemed so out of place, and so full of magic, that I’ve held onto that feeling for over 30 years – and still, when I think of the spirit of Christmas, that night is what I think of.For those of you who are wondering, the great bulging objects were bean bag chairs – the huge ones that were so popular in the mid 70’s.

Best holiday movement was when we drove up to kansas to see the birth of my niece, and she was born the day before we left. We had the whole family there and it was a great moment for everyone. Snow was falling and everything was great.

Flying out of Sydney on Boxing Day. You could see the boats starting the Sydney to Hobart regatta. It was incredible sight from the air. (Of course, due to the power of the International Dateline, I landed in Boston at 9 pm on that same day — after 20+ hours of flying).

None of my holidays have a nice ending to them. But the most memorable was Thanksgivng 1999. After my mom worked so hard stuffing and cooking the turkey, my sister became ill after eating a small portion. She was taken to the hospital by my mom and my teacher. My father had to stay behind with me and my brothers. I was so hungry that I thought I should eat some of the delicious turkey, but before I grabed some, a bullet went flying through our window. We spent our thankgiving answering questions to the cops and my mom and sister spent it in the hospital.

Best moment for me was that I made someone’s christmas much more exciting for them.. A close friend of mine lost her job and didnt have no money what so ever to pay bills or to buy presents so I gave her everything I had for that week.

My fav Holiday event was Cinque Island near Nicobar Islands of Indian Ocean…The best part was the two side sea and a narrow island…One was a devil sea with blacky water and the other where we enjoyed like rafting etc…The memories of that island were truly awesome :)

My most memorable holiday moment is as a child when I found presents on the doorstep late Christmas eve. I saw a silver van pull away from our house and assumed Santa! I told everyone we knew. My mom still thinks it’s hilarious. I never forget being so happy that I finally found Santa and his new mode of transportation!
