Popular twitter application, Touiteur, has been updated to version 2.0. The application supports widgets and is one of the top twitter applications available for Android. Touiteur offers a free version so you can try it out; with this latest update, the free version is now ad-supported. A Premium, add-free version is also available for €1.99 ($2.60 USD). Both the free and Premium version are available from the Android Market.
If you already use Touiteur, the 2.0 version is worth the time to upgrade. The best new feature is a scrollable widget, which is available to those who use a compatible home screen replacement like LauncherPro, ADW Launcher, and others. The scrollable widget will not work with stock Android or HTC Sense. The new version improves the in-app image previews and adds a 4th column for lists/searches/conversations, and improves the swipe navigation between columns.
