Froyo update Samsung Epic 4G Sprint Epic 4G getting Android Froyo the day after Christmas?Samsung Epic 4G owners on Sprint must be getting a little impatient with Android 2.1 knowing that 2.2 Froyo has been available for the HTC Evo 4G for quite some time now. However, it looks like the wait might not be much longer as a leaked screen shot shows the Epic 4G slated for an update this weekend. There’s a pretty good chance that the Sprint handset can get Android Froyo the day after Christmas. After all, an unofficial version of the software has been making its way across the web and some users were quick to jump on the opportunity to update.

But before you get too excited, this will be a roll out update, which means that you might not get it right on December 26. However, it should be quick – albeit gradual – so you should have your Froyo update ready to roll before the end of the year. Soon, you Epic 4G users will have access to Flash 10.1, the ability to store apps on the memory card and so much more.
