
A company called A2rt development launched Hyper Facts, an encyclopedia app for the iPhone that gets information from multiple sources. You may be thinking that Wikipedia offers the same features for free (where as Hyper Facts costs 99 cents), but the idea here is to link multiple articles with Wikipedia content and offer a more comprehensive results along with an interactive map of the world.
In total, there are more than 9 million unique facts included in the Hyper Facts, with each article being interfaced and linked from major encyclopedias. To put it differently, you’ll be able to access information on pretty much any topic, all while on the go.
I’m still not convinced it’s worth a buck considering that money buys you some really neat apps during the Christmas sales. If you think differently or just want to check an additional detail or two on Hyper Facts, there’s an AppStore link at the end of this post…
