Voyage Privé, which is apparently the largest private travel sale website with over six million members, launched its iPhone app to “make the highest quality travel packages more easily available in the most innovative way possible.” Available as a free download, the application allows members to peruse and purchase Voyage Privé’s travel packages, as well as app-exclusive offers at up to 75% off.
As you browse through the company’s offers that include relevant maps and photos, there’s an option to save interesting travel packages for later reading. Moreover, with the “Call customer service” button, you can speak with real person when you get tired of interacting with the app. Finally, there are real-time sale notifications so you don’t miss limited-time offers.
The Voyage Privé iPhone app was initially launched to its French members in November 2010 and soon took the #1 travel app spot in the French AppStore. We’re wondering whether they can repeat the success in the U.S…
