iGO My way Southern Africa is in the AppStore, ready to provide iPhone users living, working or travelling to South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland, Botswana or Lesotho with a turn-by-turn navigation and related location-based services.
Available in few languages — including English, French, German, Italian and Russian — iGO My way Southern Africa comes pre-loaded with more than 160,000 Points of Interest (POIs) in different categories such as banks, hotels, restaurants, pharmacies, hospitals, and other useful places along the route and around the destination. In total, over 570,000 km of roads are covered in all five countries with the most up-to-date speed limits and toll sections.
Before Southern Africa, we’ve recently seen the company (NNG) launching iGO My way Costa Rica edition. Plus, it has also unveiled other regional iPhone editions like My way for India.
Commenting on the application launch, NNG’s CEO Tamás Vahl said: “We see a growing potential and need for navigation in many African countries and have taken the first step of introducing iGO My way navigation solutions with this iPhone app for South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland, Botswana and Lesotho. As one of the most popular navigation solutions in many other regions, we believe that iGO My way will not only convince Africa tourists but also local navigation partners.”
