A year ago we talked about Firemint going to bed with Namco to bring Flight Control to more mobile platforms. Since then, we’ve seen the iPhone super-hit game being released for Windows Mobile, Java and Brew users and today… (drums please)… it’s live in the Android Market.
The gameplay remains the same, featuring 10 (yes that’s ten) types of aircraft and four different airfields. Your job is to keep the skies safe by guiding planes, jets and helicopters to their designated landing zones while avoiding mid-air collisions. To make things more interesting, there are uncontrollable emergency planes which require special attention and immediate landing. Thankfully, you can rely on the “Time Control” feature to slow down the gameplay and avoid crashes.
If you haven’t tried out Flight Control thus far, you’re missing a lot. It costs 99 cents and delivers great value for the money, keeping you entertained for hours while on the go.
