HTC is rumored to be holding a UK press event to announce the HTC Pyramid on April 12th. New information obtained by Pocket-Lint suggests the HTC Pyramid will be renamed to the Sensation when it launches in the UK. The source confirmed the UK rollout and the updated launch name of the device, but could not provide carrier information or an exact launch date. The Pyramid is familiar to us as it has been spotted in the wild and its initial specs were leaked to the internet this past month.

This leaked information hints the Pyramid will have a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, 768 MB of RAM, a 4.3-inch 960 x 540 display, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with HD recording, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Sense 3.0 customizations. Minor features include the smartphone standards such as Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and HSPA+ connectivity.
