OfferedApp.com offers paid apps for free

As it gets more and more complicated for developers to get their apps noticed, companies and individuals are experimenting with various third-party distribution channels. One such channel is OfferedApp.com, which offers popular paid apps for free. Here’s how it works:

  • You register to receive the daily OfferedApp email alert or check out OfferedApp.com to see the daily app deal.
  • In order to get the app you want, you’ll need to check out offers from OfferedApp.com’s sponsors. This usually includes some dull form-filling activities (surveys or sign-ups), but I guess something’s gotta give.
  • Once you’re done with checking out the offer, you have 24 hours to download the application.

It’s that easy, though I’m not sure every survey is worth a hassle. I may be wrong, however, with some 15,000 users registering since OfferedApp.com soft launched in January.

Finally, in case you wonder, OfferedApp.com supports three of the leading platforms, including iPhone (iOS), Android and BlackBerry.
