After the iPhone, iPad and Android – USA TODAY is going for the Windows Phone 7 community. The new application rocks a custom look and feel which was designed specifically for Microsoft’s mobile platform. The content, however, remains the same and includes latest news, sports scores, weather, as well as photos and graphics.

Commenting on the news, Todd Brix (senior director at Microsoft’s Windows Phone Marketplace) said: “With its glanceable format, USA TODAY for Windows Phone is a prime example of the dynamic applications users have access to on Windows Phone Marketplace to help them get the most out of their phone. Windows Phone 7 is backed by a rich developer ecosystem that continues to create a variety of quality apps and games, like USA TODAY for Windows Phone, that take advantage of the phone’s unique features and design.”

Finally, in addition to mobile platforms, USA TODAY is also available on Windows-Slate PCs, Chrome Web Store, Google TV, and Intel’s AppUp store for netbook PCs.
