Verizon launches IndyCar Mobile app for Android users

Verizon Wireless announced IndyCar Mobile app for Android, offering its customers session highlights, leader board highlights and video highlights of races. Moreover the application comes with race schedules and up-to-date news, the latest tweets from the @IndyCar, driver bios as well as the ability to share content with friends and fellow fans. Then there are photos and videos from INDYCAR Nation, and Verizon Wireless customers also have the ability to participate in weekly fan.

In total, IndyCar Mobile is available on more than 25 Verizon Wireless smartphones and tablets, including the HTC ThunderBolt and the Motorola XOOM. It will also work on all other Android-based smartphones and interested users can grab the app free of charge from the Android Market. If you’re a Verizon customer, you can also text “INDY” to 3406 to get the download instructions…
