ZTE is getting serious about the tablet market. After the Light and Light Pro models, they’re about to launch another device – Light Plus. Again, we’re talking about a 7-inch screen (WVGA) tablet with specs that include 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, 1GHz Qualcomm QSD8255 processor, 3.2-megapixel camera, 512MB of RAM coupled with 1GB of ROM, and a memory card slot. Interestingly enough this baby will ship with Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread preloaded which is kinda expected considering it will be available in September.

At the moment we have no idea which carrier will get to offer the Light Plus, but we do know they have already teamed-up with Telefónica for the launch of Light Pro in Spain. Moreover, we know the Light Plus’ price – it’s set at 250 EUR, which is about $365, but I’m sure the price will go down with a carrier contract.

We’ll keep following the tablet market and let you know as soon as something new and cool comes up. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
