If you’re thinking of grabbing the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 16GB over the 32GB version because of the $100 difference, then you may be interested in one of eBay’s latest Daily Deals. As the title says, you can grab the 32GB version of the best Honeycomb tablet on the market for only $30 more than the 16GB version today.
The insanely thin and light Android tablet is the best of its kind, easily out-speccing, out-sexifying, and out-umphing the whole lot of Android tablets in existence today. A tablet of this caliber deserves made up words. While the allure of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 isn’t anywhere near that of the iPad 2, Samsung’s device is easily its biggest competitor available today. And rest assured, you won’t find a brand new iPad 2 for $529 any time soon.
While I’ll personally be waiting for the introduction of the first NVIDIA Kal-El tablet that should possibly be out sometime in August or September, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the go-to Android tablet at the moment. That said, tablets like the HP TouchPad are on its way, and WebOS on a big screen just sounds great. So the Samsung tablet isn’t in short supply of competitors, which is a great thing for consumers and that may drive the price of the beastly tablet down even lower. Still, this is an eBay Daily Deal, so we may not see this sort of price drop anytime soon.
Those looking for something equally as sexy as the Tab 10.1 but crave something a bit smaller can look forward to the upcoming 8.9 inch version. If you need an even smaller tablet, Samsung is rumored to reboot the existing 7 inch Tab with a more powerful version this fall, and it would make sense to take on the 7 inch tablet market again.
For now you’ll just have to deal with Samsung’s 10.1 inch offering, which is hardly something to cry about and at the price of $529, you’ll definitely get an awesome deal.
