HTC Evo 3D hitting Europe in July with HDR capabilities

No longer will Europeans look on at Sprint customers in envy – HTC officially announced that the Evo 3D will be available in the old continent from July. No word on specific markets, dates and carrier partners. However, we’re sure the major European operators are lining up for the launch as we speak. That said I expect to see the Evo 3D hitting the “Coming Soon” pages of Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange, Telefónica, Three and others in no time at all. Heck, I would say pre-orders will begin any day now.

Specs wise, the European version of the Evo 3D relies on HSPA and HSPA+ technology rather than CDMA and WiMAX, which are used by Sprint. Other than that, we’re talking about the identical smartphone with specs that include a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch qHD 3D screen, dual 5-megapixel cameras, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM, Wi-Fi, GPS, powerful 1730mAh battery and so on. Moreover, it is said that the phone will be able to take HDR photos, which we presume is the feature that will also be available for Sprint’s Evo 3D via some software update…
