T-Mobile USA launched the T-Mobile 4G PayDay, an SMS-based mobile trivia game for its customers. Touted as the “first-of-its-kind game in the U.S. to be launched by a wireless carrier,” it is designed to test the knowledge of T-Mobile customers, featuring questions from pop culture, sports, science, history and more.
In order to participate, text “START” to 4444 to review and accept the game rules. If you’re cool with that [rules], you can start answering multiple-choice trivia questions delivered via text message. The goal is to correctly answer the most consecutive questions within an hour. If you’re stuck, you can ask for a HINT to narrow choices, or SKIP to continue the winning streak and get a different question. Both options are limited to three per game and cost $1.00 each plus tax. T-Mobile 4G PayDay ends with one incorrect answer or by reaching the one-hour time limit. Each player can participate in three games per day.
The player with the most consecutive correct answers in one game each day will win the daily $4,000 (4Gs) prize. Moreover, there’s the weekly prize, Audi Q5, which is determined by the most consecutive correct answers in a single game for the week.
Sounds easy, though time consuming. Check out the official 4G PayDay page from here.
