You may be thinking what the point of this article is. Is it about a white or black phone? The answer to that question is… both. The name of the device is LG Optimus Black and it’s available in white. Yep it sounds confusing but that’s the way it is. And to make everything even more confusing, the same device will be available in pink, though we don’t know when.

Anyway, British phone retailers Phones4U is allowing anyone to pre-order the white LG Optimus Black, with the shipping date set at July 15th. Interested users can choose between a number of plans starting at 20 GBP a month from Vodafone, Orange and O2.

Those of you who don’t remember, LG’s baby is one sexy and slim smartphone, rocking a 4-inch WVGA Nova display, 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording capability on the back, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, memory card slot, while a single-core 1GHz CPU is providing all the power needed to make things run smoothly…
