The folks at Appcelerator are looking for a few, good mobile app developers for its first Codestrong developer conference and hackathon. While the street cred for winning it may be enough, it will also be offering app makers the chance to win $10,000 for the best app.
The Appcelerator Codestrong Conference will be taking place Sept. 18-20, 2011 and you can register now to save a few bucks. The company is well-known for its mobile cloud platform and its research work with IDC, so it should be packed with interesting sessions and provide a good opportunity for app developers to mingle with industry leaders and, of course, a late-night hackathon.
While many Appcelerator users focus on enterprise apps, there is the chance for consumer-centric companies to win the money too. The best of the best will be there to compete, so I can’t wait to see what these guys and gals come up with.
