We’re big fans of the Rdio service, so we’re happy to see that the music-streaming service now has a fully-featured iPad app.
For those of you who don’t know, Rdio is a subscription music service which gives you access to millions of streaming or downloaded songs with a strong social twist. The iPad app takes advantage of the larger screen and I’m really digging the layout of the design, it’s much better than what the iPhone gets. The layout makes it simple to find artists you want or to see what’s hot with your friends.
The dedicated iPad app is definitely a joy to use but this market is getting crowded quickly. Along with the likes of Pandora and MOG, Spotify has just landed and is creating a ton of buzz in the United States. It’s all going to come down to your personal preference and how much you’re willing to pay.
You can download the Rdio iPad app here (iTunes link).
