Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro is now available for purchase in the UK through the Carphone Warehouse and Mobiles.co.uk. Both phone retailers are offering the Android smartphone for free on contracts starting at 20 GBP a month from Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone. Additionally, there are even lower cost options that ask you for come cash upfront while requiring a lower monthly commitment afterwards — for instance, you could get Sony Ericsson’s baby for 20 GBP upfront with 15 GBP/month plan. Of course if you already use more minutes and mobile data, why not pay commit on a bigger plan upfront and get the better deal right from the bat.
Anyway, the Xperia Mini Pro is a compact Android smartphone with a 3-inch HVGA touchscreen and full side-sliding QWERTY keyboard. In addition, it also rocks a 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera on the back, VGA front-facing camera, 512MB of RAM, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS and a memory card slot.
