HTC suing Apple over three additional patents

We’re living in litigious times in the tech world: Apple is suing Samsung, Samsung is suing right back, and HTC and Apple are going back and forth, too. Let’s not forget everyone else thrown into the mix, or those looking to get into the fight, but it’d just cause our heads to spin. This time around, HTC is suing Apple again over three more technology patents.

HTC is looking for damages with this lawsuit, along with an injunction on the import and sale of Apple products that infringe on its patents. Of course, this is likely an effort to force Apple into settlement terms, but it’s still a big mess, anyway.

Reuters reports:

“We are taking this action against Apple to protect our intellectual property, our industry partners, and most importantly our customers that use HTC phones,” HTC General Counsel Grace Lei said in a statement.

We’re really getting to a point where hearing about all these lawsuits is becoming very tiring – one can only imagine what it’s like for the legal counsel teams of these tech companies.
