For about a month we’ve known HTC’s plan of nine upcoming Windows Phone 7 Mango devices. Today, we believe HTC may have something brewing. It’s widely expected the Taiwanese manufacturer plans to announce several new smartphones, including the HTC Omega (a Windows Phone 7.5 device with a single-core 1.5GHz CPU), the HTC Eternity (another Windows Phone 7.5 device with a huge 4.7″ display), plus potentially the HTC Runnymede; which is a beast of a phone sporting the latest 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon chip and Android operating system. Checkout the full specs of the Eternity and Omega down below:

HTC Eternity

  • Single-core 1.5GHz processor
  • 8 megapixel camera, with autofocus, dual LED flash and 720p movie mode,
  • Front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera
  • 16GB of internal storage
  • DLNA support
  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • WiFi
  • GPS
  • 1,650mAh battery
  • Quad-band
  • 130.6 x 70.6 x 9.9 mm
  • 14.2mbps HSDPA

HTC Omega

  • 3.8 inch LCD display
  • MSM8255 1.5Ghz processor,
  • 512MB of RAM
  • 8 megapixel camera
  • Quad Band
  • FF camera?
  • BT 2.1
  • 14.2mbps HDSPA

Just when you thought it was over, HTC has more surprises. A special edition HTC Sensation is expected to make a release some time soon, according to details obtained by CNET today. The Android device will feature not only better audio, but also a faster CPU, more internal storage, and a higher-capacity battery.

In what seemed to be the summer of Samsung, HTC for the moment, looks to steal the headlines away from the red-hot Korean manufacturer. It will be interesting to see how these phones do once they hit the market; which one strikes your interest?
