Good news for those of you looking to grab the Sony Ericsson Xperia ray. The Swedish-Japanese handset maker has started shipping the compact Android smartphone to various retailers all around the world. According to some sources, among the first markets to get it are UK, Russia, UAE and some other European countries.
At the moment, few British phone retailers are asking about 300 GBP for the unlocked Xperia Ray, though when bought (pre-ordered actually) with a contract, the price goes down to zero. Of course, you’ll have to commit on a 25-30 GBP per month plan but that’s like given these days.
If you recall, we’re talking about a solid mid-range smartphone that comes with a 3.3-inch 480×854 pixels capacitive touchscreen with Bravia Mobile engine, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 1GHz processor, 8-megapixel camera, GPS, Bluetooth and a microSD memory card slot.
So what do you say? Are you willing to grab the Xperia Ray or you want something with a bigger display?
