Just when you thought that Samsung couldn’t come up with another size of tablet, think again. Another Samsung Galaxy Tab “Plus” has surfaced in a few photos showing not only the T-Mobile branding, but evidence that it will support T-Mobile’s 4G HSPA+ network.
At this point, little is known about this device, but we assume it will be the successor to the first 7-inch Galaxy Tab. Just like the original, the new Plus version is much thicker than what you’d see from any of the newer Galaxy Tabs shown at the IFA event a few weeks ago. The person who shot the pictures below said the device boots with the name “Galaxy Tab Plus” and is running Android 3.2 with TouchWiz. Rumored specs on the tab include either a Super AMOLED or Super AMOLED Plus with 1024×600 resolution and a Cortex-A9 processor.
Geez, it seems Samsung is trying hard to appeal to just about everyone when it comes to screen size. People may be fickle about displays, but at some point Samsung is going to have to decide on a couple of screen sizes instead of every concievable size. Do you like Samsung’s approach of offering every tablet size and form imaginable?
