And we thought HP pretty much killed its webOS business. Guess we were wrong or this update was already in the pipeline and the company wanted to push it out to existing customers.

Anyway, you can now update your TouchPad with webOS 3.0.4, which brings several important enhancements and new features, including:

  • Brand new Camera app for photos and video.
  • The ability to pair non-webOS phones to your TouchPad so you can answer calls on your TouchPad. What’s more, pairing with non-webOS Bluetooth keyboards has also been streamlined.
  • Improved App Catalog – ability to view only TouchPad, Phone or All applications; UI tweaks.
  • Support for OGG Vorbis music files.
  • Online/offline messaging status support.

In addition, there are also a number of performance and user interface improvements included, security enhancements, as well as numerous tweaks like support for accelerometer events in Adobe Flash Player, more robust Skype video calling and so on… And you can get more details (i.e. full change log) about the update from this page.
