You know how Apple’s iPad is getting all the attention and is the single most used tablet out there. Pilots use it, schools are ordering their units and even doctors dig it. So what could other tablet makers do to get a decent adoption among professionals and students? They could be more pro-active and that’s exactly what Samsung is doing now.
The Korean company has supplied its latest Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet to Kangbuk Samsung Hospital. The device comes loaded with Dr. Smart Electronic Medical Record (EMR) solution to enable doctors and staff real-time communication with respect to patients. As a result, doctors will be able to access patient’s medical history, prescription and other data that will help them make decisions faster and more accurately. On the other hand, patients can see detailed illness explanation with images. Nice!
