Mobile messaging app eBuddy is already one of the most popular applications in Nokia’s Ovi Store. However, that’s not enough, hence the Finnish company decided to give it an extra push, making eBuddy the “preferred messaging partner.” As a result, eBuddy will be released for all Nokia platforms (in case some of those are still not supported), including S40 (feature phones), S60, MeeGo and Windows Phone 7.

eBuddy has reached the 20 million downloads milestone in the Nokia Ovi Store and overall its application has been downloaded more than 150 million times…

And before I let you go, we have the words of Nokia’s Reno Marioni (Business Development Director, Global Social Partnerships) to share – he said: “eBuddy’s success and experience in the mobile messaging field have made this partnership a natural step for Nokia. We are excited about the introduction of eBuddy XMS to Nokia platforms and look forward to having Nokia users enjoy the reliable and rich messaging experience that eBuddy XMS provides.”
