Facebook for Windows Phone 7 just received an update that will allow the app to support Mango’s, or Windows Phone 7.5, new features. Now that Mango makes the WP7 experience feel a little more complete, it’s good to see apps like Facebook – a service most of us use with some frequency – updated to support Mango’s live tiles and other integrated features.

From WMPowerUser:

The update brings the software to version 2.2 and ads the ability to pin selected elements of the app, for example the Messages inbox, to your home screen.

The app also now supports toasts and tile notifications for a wide variety of events, including friend requests, messages, being tagged and other features.

To get the update, you can find it in the Marketplace, or click on this link.
