Apple said its super-popular iPhone 4S will be landing in 15 more markets Nov. 11, so more people around the world will have a chance to check out the dual-core processor, voice-controlled Siri personal assistant, iCloud and the improved 8-megapixel camera.
On Nov. 11, the iPhone 4S will be availabile in Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, El Salvador, Greece, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Malta, Montenegro, New Zealand, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Romania and South Korea to go along with the countries it already can be purchased in. Apple said its latest smartphone will be available in 70 countries by the end of the year.
Last quarter, Apple sold less iPhones than expected mainly due to the fact that many consumers were waiting for the next model. The company sold over 4 million iPhone 4S units in its launch weekend, so it’s pretty clear that the demand is very strong. With the addition of these new markets and the holiday season, we’re expecting Apple to have a record quarter in terms of iPhone sales.
