Well, at least we know the Yelp team follows politics, as the latest iPhone app update includes a little joke at the expense of Rick Perry, who is vying to be the Republican presidential nominee and had a cringe-worthy moment during last night’s debate.
Perry, who has been struggling in previous debates, had a brain fart when trying to remember which departments of government he would cut if he was elected president. I was watching it live and it was pretty bad. I felt bad for the dude. Watch the video below to see it for yourself.
In its 5.4.3 update for the iPhone, Yelp included this for the description of what’s new:
There are three types of bugs that are now gone:
- Bookmarks-related bugs
- iOS5 styling & layout bugs
- And the umm… uh, what’s the third one? Let’s see… Bookmarks, iOS layout, and the um… the third one we can’t recall. Oops
I totally expect Perry to start leaving negative reviews.
