T-Mobile Vivacity confirmed

We’ve already told you that T-Mobile will soon introduce a new low-to-mid range Android smartphone – Vivacity. Well the British arm of the Deutsche Telekom-owned carrier confirmed the device and is now listing it on a dedicated “Coming Soon” page from where users can register to be the first to know when it’s released.

Made by ZTE, the T-Mobile Vivacity comes with a 3.5-inch screen (HVGA or WVGA, we’re not sure), 5-megapixel camera on the back, front-facing camera, while Android 2.3 Gingerbread is running the show. In addition, we assume other “standard for Android” goodies also come built-in, including GPS, 3G/HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity.

In other words, we’re talking about one of those mass-market phones that will most likely be offered for free on contracts starting at about 20 GBP per month. We’ll see…
