We’ve seen Lenovo’s new Android products — including the LePhone S760 and LePhone S2 smartphones, and LePad S2005 tablet — but what about other platforms? The Chinese company will also try its luck with Windows Phone devices but not before the second half of 2012, according to product manager Chen Yue. I’m not sure why such delay is needed, but what do I know. I guess they’re still kinda skeptical about Microsoft’s new mobile OS and honestly there’s a reason for that – Windows Phones aren’t selling that well compared to Android smartphones, despite Microsoft’s big push. That, however, could easily change with Nokia entering the market, helping bring the new platform to places where it wasn’t available before. In any case, we’re glad more companies are entering the market, providing more choices to the consumers while at the same time making awesome phones cheaper for everyone. 😉
