Boy Genius Report ninjas have caught an interesting tidbit of information from Samsung. Apparently the Korean giant will unveil an 11.6-inch Android Ice Cream Sandwich tablet at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The rumor suggests such a device won’t be that much bigger than the existing 10.1-inch model due to a thinner bezel.
On the specs front, BGR says the device will get its power from 2GHz dual-core Exynos 5250 processor, and display a maximum resolution of 2560×1600 pixels with 16:10 aspect ratio. Moreover, Android Beam syncing with other devices like the Galaxy Nexus will also be supported as well as wireless docking mode for gaming.
Of course, none of this is officially confirmed though as far as I can tell – it makes perfect sense considering Sammy’s aggressive tablet marketing. We’ll see… maybe the Korean company surprise us with a new tablet even before MWC, like let’s say during CES in Las Vegas…
