Super-popular file manager for Android, ASTRO, has been updated yet again to allow users to customize their experience. In other words, this handy app now supports themes each of which brings differently colored icons.
Personally I’m not a big fan of themes — more often than not I keep the default look and feel of most apps and web services I’m using — but I know quite a few folks who simply must make their app different…
In the other ASTRO news, this release also quietly announces the ASTRO backup service. At the moment users can pre-register for a free account and I guess get the information when the service starts working. As far as I can tell, this will be the way ASTRO will actually make some money (since their app is free to download), allowing piece of mind to everyone who agrees to pay for periodic backup of their data. Love the idea!
