Verizon Wireless is getting super serious about tablets. They already offer such devices as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with LTE, Motorola XYBOARD 8.2 and 10.1, Apple iPad and… apparently that’s not enough — they’re also looking to add LTE-enabled Galaxy Tab 7.7 to the offering.
According to the screenshot above, Sammy’s sexy tablet is already in the VZW systems, though unfortunately we don’t know when the carrier will officially announce the device. If I had to bet, that would happen at the upcoming CES in Las Vegas. Simply put there’s not much time left to introduce the device for the holiday shopping season and they already have a solid offering for this Christmas. And besides, we’ve heard this baby won’t hit the U.S. shores this year…
We’ll be looking at FCC listings and let you know as soon as Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE starts following its Wi-Fi only brother’s footsteps. Stay tuned.
