Wallpapers for Android - here's where to find them

As I’ve been saying in my previous posts I’m not a big fan of ringtones, ringback tones, wallpapers and screen savers. However, I’m aware some folks like to customize their devices to make them truly theirs. Wallpapers are a big part of that customization which I’m addressing in this post.

I decided to write an article after getting questions from few friends who try to customize their smartphones this way.

First of all, you should check the Android Market. If you have some of the newer Android smartphones, you may want to grab one of those “Live Wallpapers,” which actually move while you’re browsing your home screens. Simply search for “live wallpaper” in the Android Market and see if it returns something you’re interested in. If that doesn’t work — or you want static wallpaper — search for “wallpaper” only.

Alternatively, there are many websites offering free wallpapers for Android devices. Here’s a short list of some place I’ve found after Googling “Android wallpapers.”

  • androidwallpapers.eu
  • androidwallpaper.net
  • 60 Beautiful Wallpapers for Your Android Phone
  • Live Wallpapers for Android
  • android-wallpapers.com

Hope the list helps. 😉
