60beat’s GamePad controller makes iGaming easier for $49.99

Touchscreen controls are not enough for you? Don’t worry – you’re not alone. A few friends of mine would die for a dedicated gaming buttons, but they don’t like the overpriced external gamepads.

Enter 60beat, which GamePad controller is selling for $49.99. That’s not big cash and any dedicated iGamer should be able to afford it.

The problem, however, is the number of supported games. At the moment, 60beat’s accessory works with only two titles – Bugdom 2 and Aftermath, though I’m sure they’re pitching other game publishers as we speak.

Unlike some other gamepads we’ve seen, this one connects to a 3.5mm headphone jack and doesn’t have its own batteries. Moreover, it comes with a D-pad, dual-analogue joysticks, 10 different “action” buttons and familiar ergonomic design.

The 60beat GamePad works with all iOS devices, including the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. You can see how it works from a short video below…
