Now that the Motorola Droid 4 has been officially announced not many folks will want the old DROID 3. It’s still a solid device though it lacks LTE connectivity, making it too slow for modern geeks. That said, Verizon Wireless has slashed the phone’s price, introducing a promo discount of $100 to bring the cost down to $99.99. Of course, you’ll still have to put your signature on a new two-year contract but that’s like a given these days.

Again the DROID 3′s specs include a dual-core processor, 4-inch qHD screen, 5-row QWERTY keyboard, rear and front-facing cameras… You can get additional details and order Moto’s smartphone from this page at Verizon’s website.
