Customers join forces to make Sprint add more Windows Phone devices

Some Sprint’s customers think the carrier doesn’t have enough Windows Phone devices in its portfolio and they want to do something about it. To be fair, major handset makers don’t exactly have that many CDMA-based Windows Phones in their offering, but that could easily change with Sprint (and Verizon Wireless) turning to Microsoft and its partners with such a request. To that end a group of Sprint users started an online petition asking the Now Network to do something about it – introduce some cool smartphones with Microsoft’s mobile platform. The idea is to gather 2,000 virtual signatures and at the moment I’m writing this they almost managed to reach that (modest) goal. Now we’ll see whether that’s enough to move Sprint in this direction…
