After South Korea and Sweden, the pink version of the Samsung Galaxy S II is heading to the UK. The device is available for pre-ordering from two retailers, Very.co.uk and Phones 4U. The first one is selling the unlocked unit for whopping 499 GBP (about $760), saying that orders will be shipped “within 7 days.”
On the other hand, Phones 4U will most likely offer the pink Galaxy S II on a carrier contract. Unfortunately, this retailer doesn’t list neither the shipping date nor price.
Aside from the color change, there are no any other differences in the pink version of Sammy’s popular smartphone, making it an ideal present for the upcoming Valentine’s Day. In that sense, it rocks the same 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus WVGA touchscreen, 8-megapixel camera on the back, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, HSPA+ and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth, 16GB of built-in storage and a microSD memory card slot.
