Samsung Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Pro Duos start selling in Europe

Samsung has started selling two of its dual-SIM Android smartphones, Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Pro Duos, in parts of Europe. At the moment I’m writing this, the second device is available in Greece for 139 EUR (about $181) from the operator Wind. Moreover, both phones are selling in Russia, with Galaxy Y Duos going for 7,990 RUB (some $263) and Galaxy Y Pro Duos for 9,990 RUB (about $330), which is much more than what Greeks will be paying.

Dual SIM devices are known for their limited distribution and in that sense we’re not sure whether whole of Europe will get these two phones.

In any case, we’re talking about entry-level Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphones that come with an 832MHz processor, 3.2-megapixel camera, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS and a memory card slot. In addition, the Galaxy Y Pro Duos also sports a 2.6-inch 240×400 pixels touchscreen and full QWERTY keyboard beneath; while the Galaxy Y Duos is an all-touchscreen device with a 3.2-inch QVGA display…
