Who knew that a phone as big as (or that’s a tablet as small as) the Galaxy Note will sell well. I wouldn’t. I tried it but I found it too bulky. Maybe I don’t have such deep pockets or my head is too small. Whatever – I don’t want it and I ain’t gonna buy it.

However, some people don’t mind its size. As a matter of fact, Samsung has managed to move some 700,000 Galaxy Note units in its own backyard. However, it’s important to add they only shipped that many Galaxy Notes to distributors. This doesn’t mean 700k folks will actually buy the smartphone/tablet device, though that could easily happen in the country with some 49 million citizens.

In any case, the Korean company has already moved more than million Galaxy Notes throughout the world and that number will continue to grow with mobile operators in North America lining-up to add the device to their portfolios…
