A company called Chinon is joining the tablet market with two products – Swift 7 and Swift 10, which come with 7 and 10-inch screens with 800×600 and 1024×768 resolution, respectively. In addition, both devices rock an ARM Cortex-A8 Core 1.2GHz processor, front-facing camera (for video calls), 5-hour battery life, 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity, USB 2.0 port, while Android 2.3 Gingerbread is running the show. As for the differences, the 7-inch model comes with 4GB of built-in storage, while the 10-inch one has 16 gigs and also a rear-facing camera for taking photos. Price wise, the Swift 7 has an MSRP of $159.99, while its bigger brother will sell for $279.99.
Now we dig the idea everyone and their mama will be about tablets this year and that many folks don’t want to pay a premium for a well-known brand. Luckily there’s a ton of options to choose from though somehow we still like our tablets made by the companies like Apple, Samsung, Asus, Motorola and Sony. What do you think?
