Developer Tap Tap Tap  released  a new version of its popular Camera+ app today. For those who have never used it, Camera+ is a camera alternative for the iPhone that gives you better control over your camera settings and a set of editing tools. According to TechCrunch, it is the 10th best-selling paid iPhone app of all-time and has been downloaded over 7 million times. Version 3 is a major improvement which includes  a better workflow,  improved Lightbox UI and more.

The most exciting part for the new Camera+ is an API which lets developers integrate Camera+ into other apps. Apps like WordPress, Tweetbot, Twitterrific, Foodspotting, and Twittelator Neue already use the Camera+ API. Besides apps,  developers can also create web services that tie into the Camera+ app and its photo sharing service.

Camera+ is available for 99-cents from the iOS App Store. You can also visit Tap Tap Tap’s website for more information about the app.
