MetroPCS is looking to replace the LG Optimus M with an updated model – Optimus M+ (MS695). As you can imagine from its name, this is an “upgrade product” that pretty much fits in the same category (low-to-mid end), with specs updated for today’s user needs.

In that sense, the Optimus M+ comes with a better camera (5 vs 3.2 megapixel one) with flash, bigger screen (3.5 vs 3.2 inches), Bluetooth 3.0 + EDR (vs 2.x), while Android 2.3 Gingerbread is running the show. In other words, it’s an entry-level smartphone by today’s standards and is thus a good purchase for those just entering this exciting world. ;)

We will keep our eyes wide open and let you know as soon as we hear something new. Stay tuned in the meantime…
