LG Optimus True HD LTE aka P936 announced in Germany

LG has finally announced its Optimus LTE in Europe. The first market to get it is Germany, where currently three major operators — O2, Vodafone and T-Mobile — are offering LTE services. The version of the device, marked as P936 and called LG Optimus True HD LTE, is pretty much the same as the one we’ve seen in the U.S. (AT&T’s LG Nitro HD) and Canada, boasting that gorgeous 4.5-inch 720p IPS HD screen, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing one, Wi-Fi and so on. Android 2.3 Gingerbread is (still) running the show with Ice Cream Sandwich update rolling out later in the year.

Unfortunately, LG failed to share specific dates, leaving it up to carriers and third-party phone retailers to decided when the launch is going to happen. Moreover, they haven’t mentioned when other European countries will get the Optimus True HD LTE, as well. Let’s hope we won’t have to wait for too long…
