Casual dining chain T.G.I. Friday’s launched iOS and Android apps and right from the bat they allow users to pay with their phones. In order to use this handy functionality, start a tab the moment you sit at a local T.G.I. Friday’s, keep track of all the drinks and meals you had, and finally pay with a tap of the button.

Of course that’s just one piece of the puzzle, with the application also allowing you to locate nearby T.G.I. Friday’s, check out special drinks and menu promotions, and learn about the latest happenings at your local Friday’s restaurant. Moreover, it is said that users are able to “extend the social life of the bar to their online networks” by sharing updates from happy hour.

At the moment, the pay at the table functionality is available at more than 300 participating restaurants with more coming soon… or so we think.

T.G.I. Friday’s apps are free to download and you can get them from the links below.
