Smith Micro Software is bringing its Voicemail platform to the Boost Mobile subscribers on May 31st with the launch of the HTC EVO Design 4G. Using the new service, users are able to manage their voicemail messages like email, scroll through and listen to messages in any order, forward or reply to messages via email or text, and save messages directly onto the memory card. Moreover, Voicemail-to-Text transcription will also be offered for a monthly fee, allowing subscribers to read voicemail messages at school, at a concert, in a meeting, or anywhere that listening is inconvenient.
Boost Mobile customers with the HTC EVO Design will have access to Visual Voicemail, and the optional Visual Voicemail-to-Text transcription service for $1.99 per month.
Finally, in case you wonder, Smith Micro’s Visual Voicemail powers more than 17 million devices, delivering more than 4 billion voicemail messages per year.
